6th September: “Our Forces Prepared to Protect Every Edge of the Motherland”, Says PM
September 06, 2021
On the eve of Defence Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that our hero soldiers, officers, pilots, and sailors demonstrated to the world that they were always ready to defend every bit of the homeland at any cost. Every year on September 6, Pakistan commemorates and pays rich tributes to the martyrs and Ghazis of the military services, as well as heroes from all walks of life, who gave their lives to protect the motherland against Indian forces during the 1965 war. PM Imran said in his message to the nation on the occasion that our soldiers fought bravely, without regard for their own lives, and protected the borders by making the ultimate sacrifice.
The prime minister vowed to continue showing the world the true face of a “radicalized India.” He stated that as a result of his government’s combative diplomacy, the world is persuaded that the condemnation of occupied Kashmir must soon end, and that his government will continue to reveal the true face of radicalized India. “Saner international elements do realize our role in promoting peace”.
However, the prime minister notified India not to misinterpret Pakistan’s desire for change as a sign of weakness, adding that “it must be repeated for the sake of economic stability and people’s economic success in the entire region.” The prime minister lavished praise on Pakistan’s Armed Forces, saying that when India threatened Pakistan during the 1965 war, the entire country rose up to support their army. According to the statement, some people even came out with their bare hands to support the Pakistan Army. “Such a display of national unity instigated the already zealous armed forces in their fearless fight against the enemy, which has no premise in history”.
“This magnificent day, September 6, comes each year to allow us to compensate rich tributes to our heroes, the Ghazis and Shuhada, and the gallant armed forces that have always been the nation’s hope and pride.” “We salute the brave sons of land who gave their precious lives in defence of their country.” “We pay tribute to Shuhada’s families for sacrificing their loved ones in the defence of motherland”. The prime minister stated that Pakistan is still under threat from its adversary who has not accepted its existence.
“The two-decade-long war against terror, causing disruptions and carrying out sabotage activities within Pakistan, or new waves of erupted propaganda through cyber warfare and spy software” was proof of this. He emphasized that in the past, India has consistently perpetrated terrorism against Pakistan, using Afghan soil to spread conflict in the country. “On this day, we not only criticize those who committed such horrible crimes, but we also pay special tributes to our courageous armed forces that have made invaluable sacrifices for our motherland”.
He added that the world must hold India responsible for its bad behavior. “We applaud our security services for their assertive and greater understanding; India today stands exposed before the civilized world for its attempt to undermine peace in the region, particularly with regard to Pakistan.” “My message to Pakistan’s brave armed services on this day is that we have come a long way together in the struggle to make Pakistan’s defence strong and invincible”.
