Accidental Explosion at Wah Cantt.

An explosion occurred at Pakistan Ordnance Factory in Wah Cantt. Three of the employees died due to the accident and two other people are wounded. The military media affairs wing mentioned that the accident took place in the city of Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The Inter-Service Public Relation officers mentioned that the explosion was accidental and there were technical faults behind it. The people who were injured due to the accident were shifted to the hospital.

The Inter-Service Public Relation asserted that the site of the accident was cleared and immediate actions were taken by Pakistan Ordnance Factory and technical emergency system. The reports that came first asserted that the blast destroyed windows of the homes and shops in the locale. People feared the situation as they heard a blast and ran out for help.

The security official, emergency services, fire brigade, and rescue services reached the location timely. Security forces likewise mentioned that all the routes that end of to the site of the explosion are closed.

Pakistan Ordnance Factories is the country’s largest safeguard mechanical complex, operating under the Ministry of Defense Production. It manufactures standard arms and ammunition. Wah Cantt has the POF Board’s central command.
