Aircraft Crash near the City of Attock

7th August 2021.

An Aircraft while training session crashed near the city of Attock. The statement is presented by the PAF spokesperson. He mentioned that there was no life or property loss as both the pilots ejected the aircraft. He also said that the Board of Inquiry is on board to probe the reasons behind the crash.5 same incidents were reported of aircraft crash last year with four of them which were PAF jets, during the training session and 1 while practicing for the 23rd March parade.

The first crash occurred in January 2020 where the fighter jet was on a routine functional preparing mission close to Mianwali. Both the pilots lost their lives during the incident of the PAK FT-7 crash. After this incident, another crash happened in February of the same year.

The other aircraft also crashed during an operational training mission in the area of Punjab. It was reported by the PAF spokesperson that the pilots managed to eject during the PAF Mirage aircraft crash and there was no life or property loss on the ground.

Another PAF aircraft that was on a training mission, crashed in the same month. Fortunately, the pilot managed to eject out of the aircraft. This incident took place near Takht Bhai in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district.

In March of the same year, another incident was reported of an aircraft crash. A PAF F-16 aircraft had crashed close to Shakarparian in Islamabad during practices for the March 23 parade. Wing Commander Nauman Akram was martyred in the accident.

Following that crash, in September another PAF aircraft crashed near Pindigheb, Attock. The aircraft was also on the training mission and there was no loss of life and property on the ground as reported.
