The evolution of technology had provided both ease of doing business and created new avenues for criminal activities. Pakistan cyber space has been in rapid development, almost 27 percent of the population are using internet today. Rapid advancement and widespread reach of internet in Pakistan has also provided avenues for national and transnational crimes to penetrate Pakistan’s cyber borders. From website defacement to cyber harassment, and online banking fraud, the people of Pakistan have been victim of all. Lack of awareness, lack capacity building in masses, lack cyber experts, and a political will to implement in full force the adopted policies and laws including those in the Prevention Electronic Crimes Act (2016) has created vulnerabilities in the cyber borders of the country. There is a need to for a public-private-military sector cooperation to curb cyber crime in the country.
