Chaudary Fawad Hussain and Tahir Ashrafi discussion on Muharram’s Security System

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Special Representative for Religious Harmony Tahir Ashrafi met on Monday in Islamabad. Both the minister and representative met to discuss the peace and security situation in the Month of Muharram.
Both the parties discussed the situation of laws and orders and the factors that are affecting the implementation of the laws and orders. They also discussed the enactment of Paigham e Pakistan’s conduct.
Chaudary Fawad Hussain said that the government is trying to take all the possible precautionary measures to promote peace and harmony and maintain security in the region. He said the government is working to maintain laws and order situation in the month of Muharram. The minister also said that the role of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Muttahida Ulema Board for in this regard, to maintain peace and security is highly considerable.
The minister said that Islam’s main purpose is to spread peace and maintain harmony. It is in the hands of people and media that show the world what’s happening, promote Islam, and gesture such acts that prove Islam is serene. The minister also mentioned that media has an important role to spread religious coherence in the area.
The minister also referred to some factors that are being manipulated in hands of rivals to promote and create chaos in the name of sectarianism but they will not succeed in these immoral plans.
Hafiz Tahir Hussain Ashrafi also agreed by saying that no religious scholar wants extremism and doesn’t support such mindsets and that the security system will be sustained in the month of Muharram.
