China is a Role Model for Third-World Countries, PM Imran Said

PM Imran Khan has stated that China is a role model for developing countries in terms of reducing poverty, and that the neighboring country’s cosmological growth has lifted “800 million people out of poverty over the last four decades.”
“China’s role as a leader in climate change is also highly regarded. I applaud President Xi’s vision of a “flourishing, clean, and beautiful world,” as well as his effort to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. “The premier made the remarks while speaking at the 20th anniversary of Junsao Assistance and Sustainable Development Cooperation (SDC) on Thursday.
The PM stated that poverty eradication and combating climate change are top priorities for his administration. “We launched a broad social safety net programme called ‘Ehsaas,’ with the goal of empowering vulnerable communities, eliminating poverty, and assisting helpless households”. PM Imran stated that absolute poverty has been declining steadily over the last two decades as a result of unwavering efforts to eradicate poverty in all of its forms. However, the Covid-19 pandemic prompted a financial collapse, slowing development trend. “Extreme poverty increased in 2020 for the first time in more than 20 years.”
He stated that achieving food security and adequate nutrition has become an even more difficult task for developing nations. He claimed that the “Ehsaas Emergency Cash” programme protected the most sensitive segments of the population from the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added, “One of the most vulnerable countries in the world, Pakistan, fully supported global measures to counter this issue.”We are moving towards a Green and Clean Pakistan under a very well climate change and environmental agenda that includes a number of flagship environmental projects.”
Pakistan has planted a trillion trees as part of the government’s ten trillion tree project, one of the most aspiration development and revival efforts. “The United Nations Decade for Ecosystem Restoration (UNDER) 2021-2030 reflects our green activities. We anticipate that this will aid in abstain, terminate, and reversing ecosystem damage”.
The premier stated that the advanced Junsao technique, which is at the intersection of reducing poverty and environmental sustainability, is suitable for economy and society. “Such inventive, affordable, and environmentally friendly techniques may help instigate our progress toward the first two Sustainable Development Goals: zero hunger and zero poverty”. “In cooperation with Junsao technology, our national poverty graduation programme, which empowers people by providing livelihood, assets, and trainings, can play a critical role.” He stated by conveying his courage and determination to international cooperation aimed at poverty relief, sustained growth, and alleviates climate change.
