CM’s strategy to accelerate the socio-economic development of KPK

KPK’s Chief Minister Mehmood Khan reportedly stated this Monday that in the next JCC committee the officials will appraise the insertion of Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway and Dir Expressway projects in the multibillion-dollar i.e. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The meeting is to be held on 16th of July.
CM declared that this strategy has been approved by the central development working party to boost the social and economic stability of the province. Thus he appreciated the Federal government for considering his ideology.
Mr. Mehmood also suggested easing formalities for owning private properties for the well-being of citizens. He urged the industrial department to initiate Buner marble city within thirty days.
He commanded the health sector to take adequate steps in the implementation of the four major hospitals in the district. CM’s assistant Mr. Kamran Bangash told about the 4-member committee that was held to contemplate the reforms of child protection. Another area was the universities sectors where the cabinet disapproved of providing financial support to the University of Agriculture and obligated them to settle the crisis independently.
The cabinet approved amendments in Business reforms in 1985. Mr. Bangash insisted on the government hold elections in one go. Cabinet agreed on improving the health sector and also renamed Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Swat as Swat Kidney Hospital as previous legislation didn’t validate renaming any public institution after a living political figure.
The cabinet also approved the Criminal Amendment Bill, 2020, and ratified an additional grant for the launch of Police Lines in the Shangla district. The console established a directorate of land records as well. It pondered upon KPPRA Rules and summoned a committee for this purpose.
