Emergency Declared in Sindh due to Rain Forecast

A notification was issued by the Sindh Health Department, stating that the rain forecast in Sindh can invoke damage due to which an emergency is declared in Sindh hospitals to be on guard.

The heavy Rain of the fresh monsoon is to bring devastation in the region due to which all health facilities in Sindh are urged to be prepared for any unfortunate emergencies. The Sindh Health Department has canceled leave for all Medical Professionals and necessary staff who are to remain on-call round the clock even on holidays.

Sindh Health Department has requested all doctors, nurses, and medical staff to prepare for any emergencies and to confirm the availability of Ambulances and Medicines.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday anticipated that the second spell of rainstorm precipitation in Karachi would liable to start from July 24 (Saturday).

The Sindh Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has demanded the district authorities take protective measures to avoid damage to infrastructure and loss of lives.
