Over 5,000 Patwaris are being Appointed by the Government to Bridge a Gap at the Board of Revenue
The government is hiring over 5,000 patwaris to fill a vacancy at the Board of Revenue (BoR), according to Punjab Revenue Minister Malik Mohammad Anwar. On Saturday, he announced this during an event to distribute appointment letters in Pindigheb, Attock district.
Appointment letters were distributed to seven Pindigheb patwaris and three Fatehjang circle patwaris, including one lady by Minister. According to the minister, 3,500 patwaris were appointed in various circles around the province in the first round, and that the remaining vacancies will be filled in stages over the following year.
According to Punjab Revenue Minister, the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has begun the extension of land record services by constructing Arazi Record Centers to improve service delivery and assist residents concerning land record services. These newly-hired officials would be assigned to these facilities.
It is critical for the revenue department’s structure to include patwari positions. Mr. Anwar further stated that efforts are being made to bring about a revolution in the financial department, which has resulted in a record increase in income creation today.
He also stated that tenders for the Fatehjang-Pindigheb Road will be issued next month and that working on both sides will begin concurrently. To provide adequate medical services at the door, the administration is working on the deployment of specialist doctors at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Pindigheb.
