Pakistan and Qatar are working to develop a long-term partnership; General Qamar

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces (COAS) of Pakistan, said that Pakistan and Qatar shared a great history of cordial relations and a profound brotherhood, and these are transformed into a lasting partnership.

The military wing of the media called on the Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Defense Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Army, Lieutenant General of the State (Pilot) Ghanim Shaheen Al-Ghanim, on Wednesday on a two-day visit to Qatar, to speak to General Qamar.
The COAS said on this occasion that both countries share the long history of cordiality and the deep fraternity, which have become a lasting partnership. The role of Qatar in Afghanistan’s peace process was also appreciated by him.
The ISPR also expressed the recognition of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the area by Qatari dignitaries and committed to continue working on better relations among the two brotherly countries.
