Pakistan, Germany looking forward to have advancement in ‘defense, security ties at all levels’

COAS General Qamar had meeting with German’s top military official during his visit, says ISPR. General Qamar Bajwa on his visit to Germany, talked about agendas including matters of mutual interest, security circumstances of the region, enhanced bilateral relations on multilateral affairs and defense ties. The German military official too applauded the part of Pakistan for territorial peace and security, particularly within the Afghan peace process. He besides recognized the endeavors of the Pakistan Armed force in fighting the war of terrorism and bringing peace and soundness to the region. Both sides vowed to advance extend guard and security participation at all levels, the ISPR included. A day prior, General Qamar Bajwa had called on German Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas where Special Representative for the Federal Government for Afghanistan and Pakistan Markus Potzel was also present during the meeting.
