Pakistan’s economic progress was impeded by ‘Aids Addiction’, says PM Imran Khan

On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan was left behind in economic development, as it was used to adopt a misguided policy of relying on external aid instead of using its own resources.

PM Imran stated that countries such as Pakistan do not need to “beg” for foreign aid because “the Almighty has blessed the country with all resources.” He said that there are many potential opportunities for the country’s economic growth in agriculture, tourism and others.

He also blamed the fact that previous governments did not invest in modernizing the agriculture sector, noting that traditional methods of crop cultivation are still in use.PM Imran stated that his government is working to implement modern farming techniques in order to increase productivity.
