Turkish commander met COAS and talked about defense ties

RAWALPINDI: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Head of Military Staff (COAS), and UmitDundar, Commander of Turkey, agreed to further optimize military relations, especially in the field of counter-terrorism training, during a meeting held at the Quebec High Court on Monday.

During the meeting, issues of mutual and professional interest were discussed with particular emphasis on the cooperation between the two brotherly countries in defense and safety. The COAS said Pakistan values brotherly relationships with Turkey that have a strong historical root and are firmly rooted in our cultural and religious affinities.
